Green Loop SystemRoltex offers sustainable solutions for a better tomorrow

The Green Loop System is practical, efficient and sustainable recycling of quality products for commercial kitchens and restaurants. This is real circularity, and completely hassle-free for you as a customer.

A smarter way forward

The Green Loop System includes:

trays, plates, drinking glasses, canteens, cutting boards, lunch boxes and more.

All products are part of the same circular system. It's not just an environmental choice - it's a strategic business decision.

This is how Green Loop works

The system means that the material in the Green Loop products can be used for upwards of 30 years, compared to, for example, proslin, which needs to be replaced approximately 20 times during the same period.
The results for the climate are significant.

"In a circular economy, all actors in the entire product value chain contribute to keeping resources in society's cycle for as long as possible."
naturvardsverket.se

Circularity is the answer to many of today's climate challenges, and a powerful tool in the transition to a resource-efficient society. Today we consume 25 tonnes of material per person per year in Sweden. That's a whopping 70 kilos per person per day!

Green facts with the Green Reporting Tool

We don't just think our system makes a difference - we know it does. With the Green Loop system, you get easy access to facts about the climate savings you have contributed to.

The Green Reporting tool is our unique service that is part of the Green Loop.
The tool calculates your company's climate impact from using our products and automatically provides you with facts that you can include in your company's CSRD.

Based on data on material and CO2 effects from the LCA report produced by Miljögiraff 2025 with the assumption that each product is used approximately 200 times per year.

Close to 2 million children eat at school every day. If everyone ate on Green Loop plates instead of on porcelain, it corresponds to a saving of over 800 tons of carbon dioxide per year! It corresponds, for example, to the emissions from 4 million km in a petrol car - 100 laps around the world!

Circularity for real, with measurable and documented environmental benefits

Green Loop products are ideal for recycling in a closed system. Unlike porcelain, melamine and glass, plastic products can be recycled again and again, without affecting the quality.

  • Energy consumption is lower throughout the entire production process compared to alternative materials such as porcelain, melamine and glass.
  • Products are manufactured in our own factory in Eskilstuna, which means short delivery distances with less carbon dioxide emissions from trucks and ships.
  • Solar cell installation that covers the roof of the factory corresponds to the annual consumption of electricity for the production of our products. We also supplement our consumption with only renewable electricity.
  • The low weight of the products also results in reduced carbon dioxide emissions during transport of both raw material and finished product.
  • Plastic crockery is safer to use than porcelain and glass as the material does not break if it hits the floor. Durability contributes to reduced wastage.

That's where you and I can make a difference.

WIN-WIN

The Green Loop System is developed for professional operation:

- Low total cost of ownership.
- Long service life.
- Fewer new purchases.
- Less crush and waste.
- More stable budget over time.

Ergonomics and work environment

The products' low weight contributes to a good physical work environment. A full sink with china weighs around 10 kilos. A full sink with plates from Green Loop weighs only about 3 kilos.

100% Safe

Our materials have been tested and approved by EFSA, FDA and REACH for food contact - up to 100 percent recycling rate and 7 reproduction cycles.

Green Loop's material Tritan
beats most things

It is not only when it comes to the environment that the material in our products beats other materials, but also when it comes to handling, durability, safety - and costs.

Tritan combines function and durability:
- Low cost and long service life.
- Basically unbreakable
- No sharp shards.
- Light and ergonomic.
- Scratch and stain resistant.
- Produces lower noise.
- Glass-like clarity and stylish design.
- Tested and approved with high requirements for food contact.
- No measurable release of microplastics.
- Safe and secure: tested according to high requirements.
- Withstands professional handling.

LCA - reports and studies

Plastics in general have outstanding properties that can be recycled without affecting quality.

The energy consumption in the entire production process is lower in plastic production than in the production of alternative materials. In addition, the low weight of the plastic results in reduced carbon dioxide emissions when transporting raw materials and finished products.

Studies show that when handled correctly, plastic is the most climate-smart alternative, compared to corresponding materials such as porcelain, melamine and opal glass.

The Green Loop System has been analysed and the environmental effects documented in two separate reports by independent reviewers. The work of Eva Myrin from the Environmental and Waste Agency has resulted in a licentiate thesis at Lund University.
