Tests & certificates
Roltex products are tested and approved for food contact in accordance with applicable European regulations. Tests and analyses have been conducted by independent, accredited laboratories and cover food safety, chemical analysis, material identification, and functional testing. The products have also been tested against US requirements for food-contact materials and comply with US FDA 21 CFR.

Material Analysis
The materials used in our products have been verified through independent laboratory analysis as well as supplier certificates and test reports.
Responsible Sourcing
Our laminate trays, manufactured at our own factory in Belgium, are FSC-certified. This certification ensures traceability and guarantees that the cellulose used originates from responsible forestry. Most other products are manufactured by our sister company, Mälarplast, in Eskilstuna—Sweden’s greenest plastics company. Both Roltex and Mälarplast are certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
